A superfood King, sun-dried coffee cherries (cascara) have 8x the antioxidants of blueberries, and more health-giving properties than acai and pomegranate. They also make a delicious tea (hot or iced), fabulous latte, and many versatile and exotic drinks.
Coffee cherries are the fruit of the coffee plant, which hold the coffee "bean" inside. For some inexplicable reason, coffee farmers have never provided this "cascara" to the USA until recently, although the coffee cherry fruit has been enjoyed worldwide for centuries.
This "simple syrup" is the key ingredient in Cascara Lattes and other espresso drinks that use Cascara Syrup. Use as is to make delicious sodas by adding sparkling water and ice, or flavor smoothies and cocktails.
The 150 mL bottle can make up to 10 or 12 lattes, and the 750 mL bottle can provide up to 50-60 servings. All natural... the ingredients are just Cascara (dried coffee fruit), water and cane sugar. Produced for us by a specialty syrup and extract house in Chicago.
